Busan, South Korea (11/25/2019), lecturer of the FFMS UB Marine Sciences program, Ade Yamindago, S.Kel, MP, M.Sc delivered his research presentation at the 30th ASEAN-RoK Commemorative Summit attended by Indonesian President Joko Widodo.

Ade Yamindago, S.Kel, MP, M.Sc who is currently completing doctoral education at the University of Science and Technology (Korea Institute of Ocean Science and Technology) of South Korea, in the 30th ASEAN-RoK Commemorative Summit Summit, presented an analysis of the impact of new nanoparticle contaminants and drugs in aquatic animals, which affect the bacterial composition of associations and relationships between organisms and their associated bacteria, physiological disorders such as DNA and protein damage, cell death, oxidative stress, endoplasmic reticulum stress, infertility and sex reversal which result in decreased health, death and decline in aquatic animal populations.

The 30th ASEAN-RoK Commemorative Summit (Summit) Summit is a meeting between Indonesian research scientists in South Korea who are members of the Indonesian Research Association in South Korea (APIK).

This activity discussed three recommendations from Indonesian research scientists in South Korea to accelerate the progress of research and innovation in Indonesia towards Indonesia Gold 2045 through the establishment of the National Research University (URI), optimization of the role of the National Innovation Research Agency (BRIN) and collaboration between universities and industry to improve the quality of superior Indonesian human resources.
